The Fonseca Brothers | Alexis & Gustavo are the founders of AUTORE. They each started their training of Jiu jitsu in Hawaii. Discovering their passion for the sport, the brothers ventured to Southern California to dedicate their lives to the martial art.

Both bothers have trained and studied under highly respect black belts, such as – Andre Galvão, Rafael & Guilherme Mendes. And after many years of dedication and training each were awarded their black belts at the Art of Jiu jitsu academy under the Mendes brothers.

In addition to their competitive success, the Fonseca brothers are also highly skilled instructors, known for their ability to break down complex techniques and concepts in a way that is easy to understand for students of all levels. They are passionate about sharing their knowledge and helping others achieve their goals in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, whether it be for competition or self-defense.
